Designed for NZ’s toughest conditions, the Orson Alpha 2 Tent is built to best handle some of NZ's worst weather. Part of Orson's Adventure Series, the Alpha 2 is made for year-round use with superior materials and componentry. The design provides room for two adventurers, it's quick and easy to pitch in bad weather, and features an external reinforced three pole structure and multiple ventilation options.

Feedback and research revealed that many ultralight tent imports focus on ultralight weight, which means they are using ultralight materials, specifications and designs that are often less durable and aren't suitable for our environment. Our intention with the Alpha 2 was to make a true 4 season tent with a priority on performance and durability, specifically designed to perform in New Zealand's often unforgiving conditions.

• Weatherproof Design: Aerodynamic, free-standing semi-geodesic structure handles winds and can be pegged out with maximum 18 pegs if needed.
• Quick Setup: External pole system with reinforced clips for fast pitching —no sleeves, no hassles. A quick pitch fly with inner attached to keeps things dry in rain. Can be pitched fly only
• Durable Waterproof Materials: Waterproof 40D Ripstop Silnylon PU4000mm fly and PU6000mm floor with reinforced seams and pole clips for added stability.
• Sturdy Pole Structure: Three external 9.5mm aluminium poles held in place using reinforced seams and clip supports to evenly distribute and absorb tension across the tent fly
• Well Ventilated: Two end vents, two roof vents accessible from inside, plus door venting options with struts for additional airflow if needed.
• Spacious: full sized two-person design with double doors, dual vestibules, good headroom and even width measuring 215cm long x 130cm wide x 100cm max height
• Storage Solutions: Two vestibules, four internal pockets, a roof clothesline – plenty of storage options and gear organization.
