For ground defence, the tent utilizes a heavy-duty 150D Oxford PU10,000mm floor, ensuring extreme protection against moisture and extending the tent's lifespan, which is crucial for wet ground conditions often found in the New Zealand wilderness. The shelter is supported by sturdy, lightweight aluminium poles, further enhancing its structural integrity as a freestanding tent.

The Nomad 2 offers generous internal dimensions for its class, making it comfortable for one to two campers. The internal space measures 220cm long x 150cm wide x 110cm high. This double-walled tent design promotes efficient temperature regulation. Access is managed via a single front entrance featuring a handy inverted 'T' door, leading into a functional vestibule perfect for storing boots, packs, and wet gear outside the inner tent.
